In The Wild elevates Porsche’s presence with an exclusive Art and Cultural experience curated and produced by artist Nick Brown aka Ynickbrowny. With over 300 guests and up to 20 works for art on display, In The Wild was a resounding success, merging contemporary artistry with Porsche’s sleek brand appeal to engage an affluent, diverse audience. Nick is known for having his solo art shows in unusual locations and this particular event drew tons of high-profile attendees, including industry leaders like Patrick McCoy, Samir Mirza, Haven Allen, Casey Taylor Bufford, Tobi Shinobi, Thru Shivakumar, Vejurane Leal, Marshall Harris, and Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb. With a cross-industry focus on professionals from sectors such as tech, healthcare, marketing, and entertainment, the gathering highlighted Porsche’s commitment to innovation and cultural relevance, especially among Black and Brown millennials with notable purchasing power.
Trained as an architect, Nick is the cultural placemaker who makes people, products, and places, cool to millennials. His mission is to unlock human potential through his ventures, inspiring others to dream and do differently. As an artist, with almost 200 paintings, and with works at Porsche, Ogilvie Transportation Center, and private collections, Nick blends AI with traditional painting techniques to create mixed-media art exploring various themes inside unusual locations. Despite life’s challenges, Nick’s philosophy is, if you fall on your face you’re still moving forward, so stay fresh and be bold on your journey.
The Nick Brown Placemaking Effect Nick Brown is an entrepreneurial creative with a deep sense of cultural relevance, community, and long-term impact. He’s able to weave together multiple passions—art, business, technology, and culture—into a unique identity, positioning himself not just as an artist or entrepreneur, but as a movement-builder across any industry. Impact & Highlights Within 30 days of outreach the event achieved impressive traction, with 113,485 digital impressions, 15,141 pre-Eventbrite engagements, 451 RSVPs, and 1 vehicle trade in inquiry. With ticket sales and product sales growing from his previous show, this indicated a strong interest in premium items priced between $3,500 and $5,000. Porsche’s involvement was a standout, as all 50 vehicle test drives sold out prior to the event, generating new sales leads to Porsche from Nick’s network. Custom Porsche-inspired paintings and a display of a classic 1983 911 SC Porsche car seamlessly integrated the brand into the artistic atmosphere, reinforcing its cultural significance.
Cultural Relevance & Brand Engagement By engaging Black and Brown professionals across various industries from Nick’s eclectic network, “In The Wild” positioned Porsche as a culturally inclusive brand that resonates with underrepresented and niche cross-industry communities in Chicago. This event helped bridge Porsche’s luxury lifestyle with local culture, establishing deeper community connections, and laying the first of it’s kind ground work for corporate and community relations.
